Civil Rights Training Planned For Local High School Employees

A Federal Discrimination complaint now means civil rights training for David Crockett High School teachers and staff. The district entered into a voluntary agreement with the Office for Civil Rights after a complaint was lodge that alleges discrimination on the basis of race, disability and retalitation at the school. The agreement includes training for bullying among other things…there will not be a federal investigation.
