Elizabethton Business Owner Arrested for Sexual Relations with a Minor

A local business owner in Elizabethon is facing multiple charges of sex crimes against a minor who worked for him. Gary Mac Hicks, owner of Sycamore Drive-in on Sycamore Street, is facing two counts of sexual battery by an authoriy figure, three counts of soliciting sexual emploitation of a minor and two counts of tampering with evidence. Hicks is being held in the Carter County detention Ceneter on a $25,000 bond. Investigators are asking anyone with information about the case, or related incidents to contact them at 423-547-6250.
