First Day of Spring and Winter is Not Over Yet

Tuesday is the first day of spring but winter is not quite over yet. Snow is expected Tuesday night and Wednesday. River’s Edge Fellowship is setting up an Emergency shelter in Elizabethton for those who may need it and they are accepting pets. The National Weather Service is calling for up to 10 inches of heavy wet snow in the higher elevations like Roan Mountain or White Top. Snow totals in the lower elevations could total anywhere from 1-5 inches depending on elevation. River’s Edge Fellowship is located at 1200 19E bypass, in Elizabethton.
