Man Arrested For Making Bomb Threat To Bristol, Virginia Courthouse

A man is to appear in a Bristol Virginia courtroom Tuesday after allegedly making a bomb threat at the city’s courthouse. 44 year old Philip Shannon Bowman is charged with threats to bomb or damage buildings and false information. Bowman allegedly made the threat just before nine Monday morning resulting in the evacuation of the building and rerouting of traffic in the area. Bowman was arrested during a traffic stop.
