Northeast State Community College Gets Presidential Search Criteria Approval
Northeast State Community College can begin the preliminary search for a new President. The Tennessee Board of Regents approved the criteria for the next president of the school. The college has been without a president since the resignation of Dr. Janice Gilliam. She resigned after a no confidence vote and a financial crisis showing the school facing a 45 million dollar deficit. Layoffs and financial cuts were put in place. The next step in the process will be establishing a search committee.
