Governor’s IMPROVE Act Funds Two Northeast Tennessee Road Projects

Two Northeast Tennessee road projects are being funded as part of the Governor’s IMPROVE Act transportation program. Work will soon begin on a project in Boones Creek beside interstate 26 at the State Route 354 interchange. The other project includes work at Locust Lane in Unicoi County to replace a bridge.The IMPROVE act is placing an emphasis on repairs and replacement of bridges as part of 116 construction projects across the Volunteer state.
