Shots Fired Into Woman’s Car May Have Been Intimidation

A Hawkins County grandmother says she believe the bullet holes she discovered in her vehicle recently may have come from several loud popping noises she heard outside her home. Joyce Forbis says she found two bullet holes…one of the right front door and one on the right front side panel. Forbis’ son says those gunshots may have been a message to her grandson, who had been staying with her. Forbis’ son told authorities his step son had told him he had been involved in a drug deal that made several parties involved unhappy and that the shots may have been intended for him as an act of intimidation…An investigation is underway.
