Ballad Health Closing Four Urgent Care Centers In Region

Newly formed Ballad Health is closing four urgent care facilities in Johnson City, Kingsport, Abingdon and Greeneville. The closures will occure during the next few months. Since the merger, Ballad is has been operating two urgent care centers in each of the four cities. Now, under the new consolidation plan Johnson City, Kingsport and Abingdon’s former first Assist Urgent Care clinics will move to the former Wellmont Urgent Care locations and in Greeneville, the Wellmont Clinic will move to the First Assist location.
