Iced Tea Controversy

There is a tea battle brewing between Tennessee and New York.

Long Island, New York bar owners and bar tenders have called out the Kingsport, Tennessee Tourism Board after they made claims that the Long Island Iced Tea was created in Kingsport. Groups of bars from the Long Island area have sent a letter to the tourism board titled “Battle of Long Island,” issuing a challenge to bartenders from both states to see who can make the best Iced Tea.
