Number Of School Crimes Reported Up in Tennessee

In the wake of area school systems reviewing their individual school’s safety procedures, a recent study by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation reveals the number of offenses in schools increased thirteen and a half percent from 2015 to 2017. A total of more than nine thousand transgressions were reported in school across the Volunteer State, with simple assault the most frequently committed crime.
