Greene County Suspect Turns Himself In

A man being sought in Greene County by police for connection of the kidnapping and assault of a woman with a knife, has surrendered. Scott Burger, 46, turned himself into police after spending time hiding in the woods and using the railway system to elude authorities. He turned himself over in the parking lot of Woodridge Hospital. Burger is facing charges of Aggravated Kidnapping and Aggravated Assault. He is next scheduled to appear in court Wednesday evening
