Community Colleges in Northeast Tennessee and across the state are bucking the trend of lower enrollment numbers with figures that continue to impress education officials. 48 percent of people applying for Tennessee Reconnect, which offers free tutition for Tennesseeans over the age of 25, make less than 25 thousand dollars a year…Mike Kraus with the Tennessee Higher Education Commission says the program will shape the states workforce.
