Johnson City Man Arrested For Aggravated Assault

A Johnson City man is arrested for severely beating another man after an arguement over a…cellphone. 21 year old Anthony Sams is charged with aggravated assault after police arrived at the 500 block of West Highland Road and found a male victim bleeding from a wound to his head. The victim told police Sams attempted to hit him with brass knucles but failed. Sams then picked up a garden took and hit the victim on the head. The victim is expected to recover while Sams is due in court on Monday.
