Virginia State Trooper Accused Of Lying To FBI Pleads Not Guilty
A special agent with the Virginia State Police, who served in Tazewell County has pleaded not guilty to charges he lied to an FBI agent about having sex with an undercover drug informant. 46 year old Shade Carlton Workman was indicted and is accused of engaging in sex with a confidential informant while working as a special agent in Tazwell County. Investigators say Workman, then told the informant to destroy evidence of their relationship. Workman is scheduled for trial on November 13.
