Judge Rules Bristol, Virginia City Council Has Authority To Oust Councilman Doug Fleenor

Outspoken, Bristol Virginia City Councilman, Doug Fleenor will learn his fate this Monday concerning his future with a city council that’s trying to oust him. A judges ruling Thursday clears the way for city council to conduct a vote that will decide if Fleenor stays or goes. City Council leaders called for the vote after they say Fleenor is negligent of his duties as councilman. Fleenor, then filed a lawsuit attempting to block the vote. But on Thursday a judge ruled city council does have the authority to oust Fleenor from his position on the council.
