Marion 12 Year Old Seriously Injured After Being Hit By Vehicle While Riding Bike

A 12 year old Marion Virginia girl is seriously injured when she is struck by a vehicle while riding her bike. The twelve year old was flown to Johnson City Medical Center for surgery to relieve swelling in the brain. The accident occurred on the 600 block of South Main Street. The case remains under investigation as police await the results of a crash reconstruction.
