O’Quinn, Wampler Win GOP Primaries In Southwest Virginia
Incumbent Republican Delegate Israel O’Quinn has won the GOP Primary in the house of delegates race in District five. O’Quinn received more than 24 hundred votes to defeat Michael Osborne. O’Quinn has been a member of the House of Delegates since 2012. District five consists of the cities of Bristol, Galax, parts of Smyth and Washington Counties as well as Grayson County.Meanwhile, Republican William Wampler has won the GOP primary for the Virginia House of Delegates in district four by defeating fellow republican David Eaton. District four is currently held by Todd Pillion, who announced a bid for the Virginia Senate earlier this year.
