Competency Hearing Set For Man Accused Of Murdering Appalachian Hiker
The man accused of brutally killing a hiker and severely injuring another on the Appalachian Trail in Southwest Virginia recently now has a competency hearing scheduled in Abingdon. 30 year old James Jordan of Massachusetts is scheduled to be in U.S. Federal Court on July third. Jordan is accused of slaying 43 year old Ronald S. Sanchez of Oklahoma on the trail in Wythe County Virginia.
