Greene County Commissioners Fail To Pass Second Amendment Sanctuary Resolution

Greene County Commissioners fail Monday night to pass a resolution declaring the county as a pro gun, second amendment sanctuary location. The bill originated from a state resolution that failed in the Tennessee Legislature and would have allowed law enforcement to confiscate guns from individuals considered dangerous by family members or Police. Commissioners, did however, approve another resolution that states the group supports the constitution and people’s rights to keep and bear arms.
