Big Stone Gap’s DMME Headquarters Now Using Solar Energy
The Department of Mines, Minerals, and Energy headquarters in Big Stone Gap Virginia is now one of three state facilities using a significant amount of solar energy. Recently local and state officials commissioned the new Solar rooftop that will produce power on site and save money at the same time. Tarah Kesterson is with the DMME.

Big Stone Gap Virginia’s DMME roof mounted system will offset half of the offices energy needs.
