School in Hawkins County Set to Operate on Temporary Schedule with Delayed Repairs to Damaged Route 66 and 70
A temporary operating schedule is set in place for a Hawkins County school with continued repairs of Route 66 and 70.
The Hawkins County Board of Education and Tennessee Department of Education Commissioner Penny Schwinn has approved a four day school week for Clinch School. This new schedule begins next Monday and the school will be in session Monday-Thursday from 7:30-3:45. Teachers plan to send home individual detailed schedules and students that ride the bus in the morning will be picked up approximately five minutes earlier.
Bus riders will depart from the school around 3:50.
