BREAKING: Two Teenagers Dead in Wednesday Night Crash in Hawkins County

Two teenagers in Hawkins County have died following a single vehicle accident Wednesday night.

A preliminary crash report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol says a Honda Civic was traveling south on Carters Valley Road around midnight, when for unknown reasons, it lost control and traveled off the left side of the road into a yard, striking a tree on the passenger side. Driver Ryan Wallace, 19, and passenger Zachary Harrell, 18, were both killed.

The investigation is ongoing. This was the second fatal crash in Hawkins County on Wednesday, when earlier Wednesday morning, a man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Highway 11W.
