One Million Dollars In ARC Funding Headed For Southwest Virginia Water Improvements
Nearly one hundred households in southwest Virginia are receiving improved water service with help from a million dollar grant. Five hundred thousand dollars will be spent in Buchanan County for a water line extension project along Paw Paw Road bringing safe and reliable water source to 63 households. Meanwhile, another half a million dollars is going to Lee county for water line extension service for 30 households in the Giles Hollow community. The million dollars in funding came from the Appalachian Regional Commission.
