Investigation Launched Following Sunday Fight at Northeast Correctional Complex

An investigation is underway following a fight between five inmates at the Northeast Correctional Complex in Mountain City.

According to Robert Reburn, Tennessee Department of Corrections spokesperson, a fight occurred Sunday night, and the individuals involved were either treated on site or transported to a local hospital. None of the inmates had non-life threatening injuries according to Reburn. The fight remains under investigation.
