New Jersey Woman’s 2018 Lawsuit Against Dollywood Settled
A federal lawsuit in Greeneville citing injuries suffered by a New Jersey woman on a Dollywood ride has reached a settlement.
Court documents say during a March 2017 visit to the park, Judy Lynn Etherton tripped and fell while exiting the Rockin Roadway ride, causing a fracture to her wrist. The suit alleges negligence on the part of Dollywood for no safety devices in place to help assist riders when exiting the ride. Etherton sued for $400,000 when the lawsuit was launched in 2018.
No details were given into the amount payed in the settlement which was settled in August.
