Elizabethton Man Charged With Civil Rights Intimidation After Racial Sluff And Threats To Neighbor
An Elizabethton man is charged with civil rights intimidation after shouting a racial slur at his next door neighbor and making threats against the man’s family. 62 year old Frederick Lewis Ellis is also charged with three counts of aggravated assault after he threatened to burn down the neighbors house when they went to sleep. According to a press release, Ellis, came from behind a trailer with a metal pole and shouted the racial slur at the victim who was also accompanied by his wife and infant daughter.
