Lockdown At Dobyns Bennett Lifted

Kingsport City Schools Assistant Superintendent Andy True says police at the high school have now lifted a lockdown that went into effect earlier today as police conducted an investigation into a threatening note found on Tuesday. Wednesday’s lockdown according to Kingsport Police was in response to unconfirmed issues of concern that were being reported at DB throughout the day. Students were cleared to return to class around one o’clock Wednesday.
