Washington County Tennessee Mayor Appointed To State Corrections Institute Board

Washington County Tennessee Mayor Joe Grandy has been appointed by Governor Bill Lee to serve on the Tennessee Corrections Institute Board of Control. Mayor Grandy will join other government and law enforcement officials from across the state to help set standards for adult local jails, lockups, workhouses and detention centers. Grandy will also assist with establishing additional standards for jail inspections and certifications.
