Bristol Police Arrest Man Armed With Gun Near King University…Two Others Also Detained

Details are limited, but Bristol Tennessee Police are continuing to investigate after police arrested a man armed with a gun not far from the King University Campus. At approximately 12:20 Tuesday afternoon police were called to the vicinity of the University C Mart on King College Avenue and E. Cedar Street. Patrons flagged down police while observing a male subject in the parking lot armed with a gun. The so far unidentified man was detained, while another male and female fled the scene but were located a short distance away. All three have been detained and are being interviewed by Bristol Tennessee investigators.
