Ballad CEO Says Merger Helps With Planning, Execution, And Management Of COVID-19 In Region

The merger of Ballad Health, along with planning and execution have placed the health care provider in a stronger position when it comes to handling the COVID-19 pandemic in rural areas. Alan Levine is CEO of Ballad Health, made those comments Tuesday during a COVID-19 news conference.

Levine also said coordination of assets in Johnson City and Kingsport hospitals have better prepared Ballad to handle any surge of cases in the region should that occur.
