50 Thousand Dollar Food City Donation Going To COVID-19 Relief Fund

A local grocery store chain has made a hefty monetary donation to the Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia COVID-19 Relief Fund. Food City has given 50 thousand dollars to the fund to be used to support citizens and communities in Southwest Virginia and the remaining 25 thousand will support the six areas served by the participating Northeast Tennessee United Way organizations. The Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia Relief Fund was established to support community organizations who are working to meet the needs of individuals affected by COVID-19 in the region.
