Ballad Health’s Latest Visitation Policies Released

You’ll soon be able to visit patients in Ballad Health care facilities, but with restrictions. Effective Tuesday, May 26, Ballad Health will allow one visitor at a time per patient, who has not tested positive for COVID-19. The visit will be on limited hours each day from eleven am to eight pm. Two parents or guardians will be permitted in the NICU, PICU and in rooms with a a pediatric patient. A list of the other visitation guidelines is posted below.

one visitor at a time per inpatient, who has not tested positive COVID-19
one designated visitor to accompany patients in the emergency department or pediatric or surgery
one designated visitor or support person for each patient receiving an impatient procedure or surgery
One support person for laboring and obstetric patients
two parents or guardians will be permitted in NICU, PICU and in rooms with a pediatric patient. Hours of visitation are not restricted in those areas.
