Danish Owned Johnson City Company Closing Doors

A Danish engineering company with a location in Johnson City has announced the permanent closure of that office effecting 113 workers. FLSmidth filed a warn notice with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development notifying the agency of the closure effective August 18. FLSmidth, with more than eleven thousand employees provides global cement and mineral industries with factories, machinery, services and know how.
