Two injured in Tuesday night’s multi-tractor trailer accident on I-81 in Greene County

Two people were taken to the hospital following a three tractor-trailer crash Tuesday night in Greene County.

The accident happened around 7:00 p.m on Interstate 81 Southbound around MM 39 and caused road closures in addition to lengthy delays for several hours. A number of law enforcement agencies and fire departments responded to the scene. As of 5:00 a.m, the right lane remains blocked according to TDOT.
