Radford University cites off-campus frat party for COVID case spike

Officials at Radford University reported half of the 59 COVID-19 cases on campus have been attributed to an off-campus frat party.

The school’s Kappa Alpha Psi chapter is facing possible sanctions and punishment for the event. The greek house would be the second suspended at Radford this semester for violating college rules on coronavirus safety.

Experts with the New River Valley Health Task Force said although COVID cases are rising at the school the Radford community is currently not at-risk.
