Ballad Approaching Two Hundred COVID-19 Patients

Hospitalizations continue to climb at an alarming rate as 195 patients are now being treated for COVID-19 in Ballad Health Care facilities. The positivity rate also continues to rise at fifteen percent with 41 deaths reported in the past seven days. Ballad reports 15 designated COVID-19 beds available, with 36 patients in the Intensive Care Unit and 17 patients on ventilators. Since March, there’s been a total of 425 deaths reported in the 21 county service area of Ballad Health.
