Ballad Sees Patient Numbers Decrease But Deaths Increase By Nine

Ballad Health is reporting an increase of nine new deaths across their service area since Wednesday. The region’s largest health care provider saw the number of patients drop from 246 on Wednesday to 225 on Thursday a decrease of 21 patients. Ballad reports 45 patients are in the Intensive Care Unit and 34 remain on ventilators. The region’s positivity rate continues to climb at 19 point three percent.
