Ballad Reports New Record Number Of Patients

It could be a preview of things to come, but today, Ballad Health reports a new record number of patients in its health care facilities. 260 patients are now being treated for COVID-19 across the health care providers 21 county service area. The positivity rate remains an astonishingly at 19.point two percent. Ballad reports a total of 25 designated COVID 19 beds available. 48 patients are in the Intensive Care Unit and another 30 are using a ventilator to assist with their breathing. In the past week there’s been a total of 55 COVID-19 related deaths in the region.
