Ballad Administers More Than 18 Hundred Vaccines Since Tuesday

To give you some perspective as to the length of time its taking health care providers and others to administer the COVID-19 vaccine, Ballad Health has given just over 18 hundred vaccinations since Tuesday, according to COVID-19 data from Ballad. Ballad is giving the vaccines through their hospital based pods to team members, providers, and community health care workers and those 75 years of age or older. A Ballad Health Care Vaccine Workgroup made up of physicians, leaders from Ballad, regional health departments, as well as East Tennessee State University continue to monitor vaccine development and planning for administration of the vaccines.
