Virginia DMV continues expansion of online services during COVID-19 pandemic

Virginia’s Department of Motor Vehicles continues to expand online services during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The DMV says customers are now able to skip a trip to their local office and instead conduct business like replacing commercial drivers license, learner’s permit, and more online. The credential replacements are only available to customers 18 and older, and these previously required an in-person visit.

Virginia DMV now offers over 50 online options to customers to conduct transactions, helping to limit in-person contact and keep customers and staff safe while the pandemic continues.
