DEVELOPING: Manhunt underway in Bristol, Virginia for two men considered armed and dangerous
UPDATE, 3:30 p.m.
The Washington County, Virginia Sheriff’s Office is confirming one of the individuals sought in a manhunt Wednesday afternoon has been captured near Oak Grove Road.
Investigators including US Marshals continue their search for attempted murder suspect Jacob Hicks.

Two men who are considered armed and dangerous are the subject of a search being conducted by the Washington County, Virginia Sheriff’s Office in the Wallace Pike area of Bristol that stretches over a three-mile radius.
Preliminary reports say the men were involved in an incident in Russell County, Virginia, and were last seen wearing white shirts and blue jeans.
One of the individuals has been identified as Jacob Hicks. He currently has a warrant out for his arrest on one count of attempted murder. Early reports say he is accused by police of a stabbing Tuesday night.
Bristol, Virginia police is providing assistance in the search operation along with a helicopter from the Virginia State Police. Andis is advising residents to be vigilant and stay inside their homes if possible.
