Ballad Health’s Positive COVID-19 Rate Stuck In Double Digits

Despite a surge in the number of people receiving a COVID-19 vaccine, Ballad Health’s positivity rate is now stuck in double digit territory after being in single digits for weeks. Last Friday, the health care provider’s positive rate for COVID-19 was fourteen and a half percent. And now, a week later, Ballad is reporting the same rate fourteen point five percent. The number of patients suffering from the virus is also on the rise, with 114 patients in Ballad facilities compared to 94 the week before. There is some good news coming from Friday’s COVID update, the number of deaths is on the decline as ten patients lose their battle with the virus in the past week.
