Video Surveillance Helps Johnson City Police Arrest Man Who Pointed Gun And Threatened Man

A Kingsport man is to be arraigned Monday after being arrested by Johnson City Police, with the help of video Surveillance, that showed him pointing a gun at a victim and threatening to kill him. Elliot Lopez was nabbed after the victim told police of the assault. Johnson City Police obtained video of the area and identified the suspect as Lopez, who was found in possession of a firearm that matched the description given by the victim. Lopez also has a previous felony charge that prevents him from carrying a firearm.
