Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Greene County early Saturday

A woman has suspected major injuries after being struck while attempting to cross a roadway outside of a crosswalk. The Greeneville Police Department said it occurred around 4 a.m. Saturday, near the intersection of Industrial Road and Rockwell Drive. A car traveling north on Industrial Road, struck the woman as she attempted to cross. EMS transported the woman to the Johnson City Medical Center with possible serious injuries. The investigation continues.
