Drug and gun charges levied against Unicoi man

A Unicoi man was arrested Saturday after deputies found a loaded gun and drugs in his vehicle. Unicoi County Sheriff’s Office deputies stopped a silver Nissan with a switched tag that was seen leaving a house known for drug activity. Upon a search of the vehicle, deputies found a loaded gun, methamphetamine, suspected fentanyl and other drug paraphernalia. Deputies arrested 41 year old Teddy Hyatt of Unicoi after the search. He faces drug and gun related charges, with more charges possible.
