School worker dismissed after police investigate incident involving two students

A two-week investigation has resulted in an arrest and the dismissal of a school worker in Southwest Virginia.

A letter from Tazewell County Superintendent of Schools Christopher Stacy posted online says police in Bluefield filed charges against an unnamed employee after they investigated an incident that took place on campus involving the worker and two students.

Stacy said specifics in the case cannot be shared due to the investigation remaining active.
