Two Sullivan County Closed Schools May See New Life For Future Public Use
Two closed Sullivan County schools could see a rebirth for public use when Sullivan County Commissioners discuss the matter Tuesday night. Blountville Middle and Elementary Schools served their purpose for many years until they were closed for good this past May at the end of the school year. The County Attorney is currently researching and establishing boundaries and borders for the two former schools. Commissioners have been working on a resolution that would allow the county to obtain the two buildings to be used for public use of some form.
