Man Attempts To Rob Credit Union…Then Waits On Police

A man is scheduled to be arraigned after he attempted to rob a credit union, then stayed at the scene until police arrived to arrest him. In a bizarre set of circumstances, 37 year old Joshua Sutherland demanded money from the clerk multiple times at the Mountain States Credit Union. Sutherland kept his hands in his pockets, leaving employees wondering if he had a weapon. The teller refused Sutherland’s demands and told him the police were on the way…When police arrived they discovered Sutherland still at the scene without a weapon and arrested him.
