Medical Marijuana Bill Withdrawn In Nashville
A medical marijuana bill in Tennessee has been defeated in Nashville. A lead sponsor of the proposed legislation withdrew the bill on Tuesday saying the legislation has been so watered down that passing it would actually be more harmful to patients. Republican Steve Dickerson, who is also a medical doctor told lawmakers he’s committed to the proposition that medical marijuana is a medication that helps people with many ailments and promised to bring back the bill next year for further debate.
