Traffic Stop Finds Outstanding Warrant and Drugs

The Bristol, Va. Police Department have arrested a man following a traffic stop that revealed an outstanding warrant and narcotics in the vehicle. Lafonda Lee Cook, 54, of Bristol was found to have an outstanding warrant and be in possession of 7 grams of crack cocaine, 1 gram of methamphetamine, 14 Suboxone and $825 cash. Along with the charges stemming from his outstanding warrant, Cooke is facing multiple charges of possession with intent to distribute narcotics. He is being held without bond in the Bristol VA Sheriff’s Office.
